Chicago's migration story is written in the faces of families who came north from Mississippi and built lives the history books rarely stopped to document. On Things Eternal follows one family across generations, through the Great Migration to making home in Chicago, across five sections: Making Home, Education, Style, Love & Marriage, and Family Gatherings. You won't know a single name in these photographs. You'll still know the story.
For anyone who loves archives, Black families, Chicago history, and Mississippi Chicagoans. Anyone who believes our stories deserve to be told and preserved.

The Redmond Archive
Since 2021, Raja'Nee has been documenting and preserving her own family’s legacy. That work has since grown beyond her own family, into other families' histories, public speaking, and film.
